A natural pine soap dish with beveled edges, measuring 2-1/2 wide by 4-1/4 long.  The design allows the water to drain completely through the dish and away from the soap.  Handcrafted from yellow pine, each dish is natural with no stains or preservatives.  There is no glue used in the construction, as the dish is one solid piece of wood.  One of my favorite dishes because the yellow pine trees used to make these soap dishes have a sap content (resin) in the wood itself that helps to keep them from becoming waterlogged.

The best place to keep your handmade soap between uses is on a soap dish that drains water, like this beautiful deck made of solid wood.  This unique curved design is one of my favorites.  When the soap is sitting on the dish, it's just touching on the edges of the bar, preventing the soap from sticking to the grooves.
