This boardwalk-style cherry wood soap dish has a minimal surface area to minimize the sticking of the soap. The wide-angled channels allow the water to quickly drain from the soap. This allows your soap to dry quicker, extending the life of your bar of soap.

Our aromatic cedar soap dish works to keep handmade natural soap bars stay dry and last longer.  Cedar wood soap dishes are a great choice to help protect and preserve the life of your soap, as it has inherent antimicrobial properties, resists moisture and is fast drying all on its own. These dishes are cross cut so the water will not puddle in them. Soap dishes make bar soap last longer by keeping the bar drier and out of puddles of water.

These soap dishes are perfect for the shower, kitchen or any bathroom. They are made from cedar so they hold up a long time. But my favorite part is the smell - aromatic cedar is an amazing clean fresh smell that you'll love.  A perfect dish to give with a bar of soap. Please note: Aromatic cedar loses both its smell and insect-repellent properties after about a year. Occasional sanding restores cedar's effectiveness for several years.

The patterns on each cedar dish will vary as they are cut from real wood and each has its signature pattern. Each dish is unique, some feature knots or more promient grain patterns as pictured above. Please leave a message if you'd prefer a cedar dish with or without knots or coloring differences.

A natural pine soap dish with beveled edges, measuring 2-1/2 wide by 4-1/4 long.  The design allows the water to drain through the dish and away from the soap.  Hand crafted from yellow pine, each dish is natural with no stains or preservatives and no glue is used in the construction, as the dish is one solid piece of wood.  One of my favorite dishes because the yellow pine trees used to make these soap dishes have a sap content (resin) in the wood itself that helps to keep them from becoming waterlogged.

Just put your soap, full bar or all your slivers of soap, into the soap sock and slide the button closure up snug. Wet it and rub it between your hands to build up a nice lather and scrub away. The mesh texture creates a generous lather and gently exfoliates while it cleans. Kids love the great bubbling lather it provides.
